1325627 candidates have registered for the CBSE Class 10 Exam 2014. Of these, 7.29 Lakh students will sit for the school-based Summative II, while 5.96 Lakh students will take the Board-based external exam.

CBSE have released their date sheet for Class 10 and 12 examinations on January 1, 2014. Both the examination will start from March 1 onwards and the board has also decided on releasing the results by the end of April or first week of May. The class 10 exam will start from March 3 with Mathematics examination while the Class 12 first exam will be that of English. The Class 10th exam will continue till March 19, 2014 while those of Class 12th will end on April 17, 2014.
